Ngày thứ 3, 2 đại sứ của Việt Nam đã sẵn sàng cho những công việc đầu tiên của Hội nghị bắt đầu là buổi Gala Opening.
Sau khi ăn sáng, cả đoàn cùng lên xe và đi đến Underground Hall. Tại đây chúng mình tham gia buổi Gala Opening. Trước khi vào dự hội nghị, chúng mình cùng các bạn bè các nước cùng đứng trước khán phòng, nơi có các bức ảnh do các bạn Nga vẽ về loài Hổ để cùng chụp ảnh với người dân Nga.
On the third day of the program, the two Vietnamese ambassadors were ready for the summit starting with the Gala Opening of the Tiger Summit.
After breakfast, all delegates transfered to Underground Hall in Vladivostok State University of Economy and Service. There, the Gala opening was held. Before the official ceremony, we were at the lobby in which tiger related paintings were displayed. We also met and took pictures with many Russian friends of tigers there.

Một điều làm tụi mình rất bất ngờ là sự quan tâm đặc biệt của người dân Nga đến với loài Hổ. Và hơn thế là các bạn Nga rất là hiếu khách và rất thích chụp ảnh với cờ Việt Nam chúng ta. Tại lễ Khai mạc, có cả Đại sứ của Lãnh sự quán Việt Nam tại Vladivostok là Ông Vũ Dương Huân cũng đã có bài phát biểu bằng tiếng Nga mà các bạn Nga cũng phải thích thú vì giọng rất chuẩn của Ông. Bài phát biểu bày tỏ sự quan tâm của Việt Nam đến với vấn đề bảo tồn Hổ của toàn cầu.
Ngay sau khi buổi lễ chào cờ kết thúc, tụi mình lại di chuyển ra con đường dọc bờ biển của Vladivostok để làm lễ đặt các viên gạch có hình dấu chân Hổ cùng tên của Quốc gia tại con đường gọi là Tiger Trail này. Ngoài trời khá là lạnh, nhưng mọi người vẫn cố gắng làm công việc của mình.
One surprise to us was the special interest from Russian people for tigers. Besides, Russian people were very hospitable and fond of taking pictures with our Vietnamese flag. At the ceremony, Mr. Vu Duong Huan, representative from the Consulate of Vietnam in Vladivostok, also presented. He delivered a wonderful speech with which many Russian friends were very impressed, especially with his eloquent and advanced Russian writing. The speech sent a message that Vietnam cares greatly about tiger conservation.
Right after the ceremony, we moved to the coastline of Vladivostok (Sportivnaya Gavan) to participate in the ceremonial opening of Tiger Trail with participation of Primorsky Province administration and mass media. There, delegates from each country were invited to put specially made stones with embedded tiger prints and name of the country. Despite the cold, everybody was very excited.

Người dân Nga tại đây chào đón tụi mình rất nồng nhiệt làm tụi mình cảm thấy rất vui và hứng khởi.
Sau lễ, tụi mình lại trở về khách sạn. Mặc dù có xe Cảnh sát dẫn đường nhưng vẫn bị kẹt xe nên tụi mình vẫn về Khách sạn trễ và đói lã người. Sau khi về là bắt đầu ngay phần Thuyết trình về tình trạng Hổ tại các nước.
At the venue where the Tiger trail is, Russian people extended their hospitality and warmly welcomed us.
After the ceremony, we returned to the hotel. Although, we were escorted by police car, traffic in Vladivostok still delayed us. After lunch, we continued on with the program. That was presentation on tigers in each participating country.

Phần thuyết trình rất là thú vị với nhiều thông tin mới lạ mà tụi mình nhận được từ các bạn đồng trang lứa từ các quốc gia khác. Và nhận ra rằng ở các nước khác, các bạn trẻ rất quan tâm về vấn đề môi trường.
Buổi tối thì chỉ có làm việc tại phòng internet để update tin tức thôi, nên cũng nhẹ nhàng. Tới 12h hơn là chúng mình lại đi ngủ để chuẩn bị cho ngày thứ 4 đi ra dã ngoại học hỏi ở bên ngoài.
We particularly enjoyed the presentations as we learned many new things from other delegates. We also found common interest and passion for tigers from these delegates.
At night, despite a long day, we still continued working on updating information. The next day will be field trip to Kedrovaya Pad State nature reserve and Orlinoe model hunting estate.
